“Before the wedding night we thought the ballroom looked a little plain but when it was all done up with linens, lighting, flowers, etc... it looked amazing!!!! Completely transformed. The food was GREAT. We got so many compliments on the food. All of the staff was very friendly and pleasant. We were so very pleased with it all. As were my parents. My dad even thanked the event coordinator in his speech because he knew how wonderful she had been to us and how much she had made my life/planning easier by being such a rockstar! If I could do it all over again I would have chose the exact same venue... from the food, to the cake, to the service, to the convenience, and especially the friendly/helpful staff members (this is HUGE when things get stressful)... we couldn't have asked for more!!!!!! 10 stars.”

“I am really glad we choose the DoubleTree in Arlington Heights. Their coordinator there is fantastic and extremely helpful through the planning process. The room really looked beautiful, and they were accommodating with many of the requests I had throughout the process. The price is similar to other hotels in the area, but I feel like you get many more options through this hotel then other in the area provided (longer bar, better food options). I also liked the option to have an after hours party in the bar. Being the only ball room there, it was really great that we were the only wedding that night at the hotel, and really the only event that they had to worry about. I am so glad we went with this venue.”
We were planning our wedding from out of town, and after looking at other venues, chose the DoubleTree because of everything that was included in the packages. It made planning a breeze, since they handle the food, bar, cake, set-up, church and airport shuttles and hotel for guests. Katrina was very helpful in coordinating everything and even providing good recommendations for other services we needed. The staff was very flexible and accommodating to help make the reception personalized and not a routine hotel reception. The food was also delicious, everyone was very satisfied. From a bride's perspective, this was a great reception venue because it make everything so much easier! I would highly recommend it.

From start to finish we always felt like we were getting a straight forward answer with no surprised in the end. We have nothing but good things to say about Katrina and working with the Double Tree. Bobbi was also very helpful with setting up the rooms and room rates for our guests. The day of our wedding Katrina had set up all the decorations to a tee. The doubletree staff was absolutely amazing! They made our wedding day so perfect! Our event coordinator Katrina was absolutely AMAZING!!! She was the reason we decided to go with the DoubleTree. We even had a few hiccups the days leading up to the wedding and she was right there trying to help the situation. She went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy and calm for the big day. We only had our reception at the DoubleTree because we were getting married in a church. The catering staff was OUTSTANDING!!!! There was one woman in particular that really went above and beyond, we can't remember her name but we believe she would be considered the "Hostess"? She took care of the head table and she made sure that we had everything we needed throughout the reception. We found out the next day that she was there until 4 am taking care of all of our guests at the after party we had set up and then returned the next morning at 8 am to set up for the brunch we were hosting for all of the out of town guests. Overall, Katrina and the staff at the DoubleTree were absolutely amazing. They truly made our special day a dream come true!
